Hunting/moving
Posted by redhawk1974 on Nov 10 2005
Hello everyone I am new to this forums and have a few questions.  I just finished college and have enough money saved up So I can move and start fresh. I visited alaska once with some friends and we went up to fairbanks.  I loved it.
I am really leaning on moving up there but cant decide if I want to try around Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Seward. I know my first job there may not be in my feild <Physical therapy assistant> but thats ok I just want to get settled in and started as soon as possible doing some work.  My wife is a special needs teacher and finishes her masters this semester so We will be set come end of May for moving.  Going to try and come up over spring break and make some contacts.
My question is wich area holds the best chance of landing any job fairly quick utill somthing better comes along and also  Wich area has the better hunting locations close by?  I don't think i could ever kill a moose without a few people there to help me get it out so I was thinking smaller game with maybe a Bear or goat for my big game.  Thanks for all the advice I really appreciate it and if you know of any sites that help to relocate let me know.
