  Anchorage is the place to be.  Lots more things to do if interested in things other than fishing and hunting.  If you read the paper much, not much happening in the villages other than drug/alcohol abuse.  The further you go from Anchorage, the more "relative" people are.  As for Fairbacks, only been there a few times.  Seems like a dirty, unkept town.  As for Seward, who's the biggest employer there this time of the year?  I think it is the state with bi-weekly checks.  I believe that is called unemployment...
