speaking of waders and sheep boots......another Me
Posted by TradBow on Nov 14 2005
Well as most of you know I seem to be the only person unsatisfied with my AK hunter Meidnls by cabela's.  They replaced my first set with this last pair.  I had the opportunity to spend most of sheep season out in the field and wearing these boots.  Again they failed me.  This time the rock guard itself started peeling off.  Call it nit picky but at 250 bucks a pair I wasn't pleased.

Just returned from MN and low and behold there is now TWO stores.  I stopped by the new one in Rogers on my 3300 mile drive.  Funny thing was I returned them and was wearin them at the time.  Lady said they had some in the back.  Then they couldnt find them by name, next they couldnt find ANY on the shelves....then in storage...then in my size.  I walked out of their in my stocking feet, talk about humiliating.

They didn't even have a pair of the Denali's in 9.5 or 10 EE.  Before I left I had them call Fargo as that wasn't to far out of my way, they didnt have either boot in either size.  So I have a $239 buck "gift" certificate to spend on boots.  Or if nothing else I need a new pair of boots for fall of 06.

I am looking for suggestions here, (along with wader idears to go along with the boots, needing something more then slip overs ideally a boot with a replaceable liner maybe?).  Speaking of replaceable liner boots, plastic is out right now I as I need a pair of boots that I might be able to wear elsewhere (possibly WY elk).   A friend mentioned the sporteva's (sp).

Thanks for any and all help.
