kodiak deer
Posted by geoff156 on Nov 17 2005
Was wondering if someone could give me some advice about looking into a do it yourself deer hunt on kodiak or the surrounding islands for next year. Was wondering where to get started and who to contact. Im looking to do a non guided hunt are there forest service cabins available to rent and hunt from, so a group could be dropped off by plane and hunt from there. Doing internet searches just connects you to lodges and outfitters. Not looking for a 5 star full service expensive hunt with a lodge or outfitter but would like to find cabins available to rent if there are any.
Thanks for any help
