Welcome back!

A couple of years ago (after two moose seasons of zero harvest by everyone in our group) I did a  winter, same day air hunt with Natron Air out of Soldotna.  We took several caribou, and the meat was excellent.  It was pretty much a land and shoot set-up...very much a meat harvest.  I got a notice in the mail a month or so ago from Smokey Bay Air (out of Homer), saying that they are now doing the same day air stuff...I'm assuming that Natron Air gave them my name and address.  Check the web-sites for both.

The caribou numbers appeared good a couple of years ago.  However, there have been several postings on this site during the last year about the Mulchatna herd significantly decreasing.  Check the archives.  You might also want to consider tagging on with someone going to Kodiak for deer, but time is running out on that.  Check the regs for all.
