I was hunting once in an area about 6 miles off the road. I had hiked in and was hunkerd down in the brush moose calling. I heard something coming toward me sneaking through the brush. So I kept calling and this old guy appeared. We got to talking and he was 72 and solo hunting for Griz. I asked how he had got in there and he said he had been hiking in for 20 years to this area. He was actually camped up the hill another two miles so he could glass below. He was in very good shape and hid his age well. His hunting partner had died and so he decided to hunt alone until he died
