I used to use AAE vanes with their cement and had great success with adhesion but the vanes were a bit soft for the biscuit. I switched to Bohning killer vanes for stiffness and have tried a few blazers as well. I am having a heck of time getting them to stick worth a darn. My arrows are Beeman ICS camo hunters and I usually use emery cloth a bit to take the shine off the area to be fletched. I've tried numerous fletching cements, I'm NOT touching or cleaning the vanes, and I have tried different times of curing as well. It takes a lot of wasted vanes to build up a decent group of arrows, and even the ones that seem to be fine, the mental confidence is not what it should be. Any recomendations? No, I'm not taking off the biscuit. Next: Out of tune? PatrickH Dec 04 2005 Message Thread:
