[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] take overkill Posted by jklingel on Dec 05 2005 Mike makes a good point, but.... What are you worth to yourself? If a 2 x 4 is adequate, I like to use a 2 x 6. If you don't mind packing another 4 lb probably-never-used-and-then-not-necessarily-effective item, take a hand gun. It beats a kick in the nuts, but don't get cocky because you have a Big Bore Revolver. It may be as useless as boobs on a bull. I often take a 480, esp if alone (which is not the best idea in the world, but you may well be off on your own regardless of how many friends are with you). If nothing esle, I want my wife to know that I did what I could if I don't get home. Call you own shot on this deal; it's your ass.
