I just want to add that bites from a brown bear hurt. The claws and teeth leave horribly deep and painful wounds and the pressure of those jaws clamped around you in indescribable. I was lucky, my kid helped me to the airplane and could fly it too. If I was by myself I would have died for sure. Im my opinion the most important thing to have with you in the woods up here is a good, dependable parter.
