Wife.This is one that I will never understand, when a grown man earns all the money or most of it in a household but does not have any control over what gets saved or what gets spent. Is there something wrong with me? I agree about the cheapscapes as I have crossed many of them, but how many guys do you know that really want to buy something and cant because the wife controls the checking account.And aside from starting WWIII they just back down but would never tell there friends that. There is a bunch of them out there. If you have the kind of wife that lets you buy that rifle or tent or binos or backpack(one of these) you have been really wanting because you have the money thats okay, but what about the ones that will tell you why you cant buy it or much else. I find that the wife issue is far bigger than it appears, its money,permission, and an invisible shock collar with a hell of a remote transmitter. I have known several guys that chose Alaska over their wives at the last episode of WWIII in their marriage if you know what I mean and now they no longer have to ask anyone for permission, really kind of sad. If a guy cant even get control over his own dividend to save up for a hunt he is pretty well screwed as far as I can tell. I have battled with this topic many times. If hunting or fishing is your passion your life partner better damn well know it!!!!!
