I've lined up several hunts for myself & buddies over the years.  I've even forwarded deposits to outfitters for others and have learned the only way to know for sure that someone is in is when they write a check.  Until then, they're just considering it.   For over a year we've had a group of 8 hunters lined up for 2006, which was trimmed to 4 when the deposits were due.
