Yes, you could be correct on that Mike, maybe some areas that are more heavily hunted than others have the bear trouble. I've hunted a couple of remote spots and have seen a total of 6 bears all together. Funny how one was way up on top of this rocky peak all by himself, not vegetation in sight and definitly no deer! Maybe he was sunning himself, it was a clear but windy day so who knows. Thanks for the stories by the way, especially the one where your friend went out in his drawers without a weapon, he's either crazy or very brave!
