I will just go by myself....
Posted by Dennis_in_VA on Dec 08 2005
I guess I DON'T really have anything but "Fair Weather" friends. When it comes time to go hunting, they can't go "for one reason or another"...then when I do go and come back to tell them about it, they act like I am trying to be better than them... well they could have went with me but chose not to. I now just go on my own and suck up the expenses because life is short and there are too many places and critters I wanna hunt and I aint got time to waste on whiners and posers. As far as my wife goes, she lets me go and do just about whatever and wherever I want to. She goes to the beach(with our daughter)and cooks under the sand and sun on her vacation and when fall gets here and after working my A$$ off all year I take my two weeks of glory and go somewhere and do some hunting. She don't get into hunting but she likes the way I get all excited when I talk about and getting ready for the trip. Its like waiting on Christmas for me. So, if I can't do a 1 on 1 hunt with a particular outfitter / guide I will try and use another one or just pay the difference to go 1 on 1 that way I don't have to compromise with another hunter that I don't know. Just my spin on this subject.
Hunt as often as you can and as long as you can and get the best gear you can afford.

Here are some pictures of a few of my hunts
