Funding for F&G comes from different sources.....the Fish & Game Fund which is funded from license fees, etc, the Pitman-Robertson Act, State Wildlife Grants funded by the feds, Special Project Funds by the feds......less than 1% of the $28 Million budget comes from the Alaska General Fund.....I'm sure there's probably a bit more but this was gleaned from the Dept. F&G Strategic Plan.
