Are you talking about the GF for the SOA or the "General Operations of Fish and Game"  because.......

NO Fees from tags and licenses etc are funneled into the Gen Fund,  NONE.  In fact its the other way around, there isnt very much, but a small peice comes from the GF goes to Fish and Game.

The P/R money is HUGE - and they wont ever risk losing that.  

I agree with Fee Increases, and with a bit more restrictions on what those funds are used for as well as seeing HOW those funds were spent.

GSrob - your point however is valid in that there are F/G funds being spent on projects that IMO have almost nothing to do with Fish and Wildlife Conservation/Hunting/Fishing etc.  

This is where the screws should be placed.  I think the general impression is...if we are going to pay more (which is fine with me) then "you" as F/G and SOA must be held more accountable for where those funds are spent...not just a note on the Expenditure reports as is currently done.

There is a Bill in the Senate that addresses all of this, and its something sveryone on this forum shoud read - its impacts everyone of us.
