no never been down that way, i know they take some decent bears outa barling bay as well. basicly in the spring on kodiak is your best chance for a big bear. fish and game stats say that spring on kodiak is notably better than spring on the peninsual. fall is the opposite. glass high and glass long on kodiak, bears like the snow and the edges of the snow in april, may they should be coming down lower as the rut slowly gets rolling, but then you'll be riskin' rubbed hides. specailly if we have a hot spring again. have a blast!
