Wiggy Bag for Sure
Posted by RedLabel on Dec 26 2005
Falcon,

The Ultra Light Wiggy bag retails for $146 is a +20 degree rated bag. The loft averages 4.5 inches. The weight for a regular length, 80 inches x width, 31 inches, averages 3.5 pounds. Add 1/2 pound for a long (90) inches and 1/2 pound for a wide (34 inches). Add $164.00 for the Flexible Temperature Range Sleep System (FTRSS).

The Super Light wiggy bag retails for $166 is a  "0" degree rated bag. The loft averages 5.5 to 6 inches. The weight for a regular/regular averages 4 pounds. Weight and size increments are the same as the Ultra Light. Add $164.00 for the Flexible Temperature Range Sleep System (FTRSS).

Both bags use Lamlite insulation>>> http://www.wiggys.com/about.cfm
They are the best on the market...read for yourself.  My son & I both use wiggy sleep system bags on all our hunts & won't use or recommened any other bag.  If your associated with the Boy Scouts you can get a better prices...Talk to Mark Taylor at Wiggys Alaska.  By the way use a closed cell foam pad for ground insulation...better in the long run than thermolite self inflating>>>this is the key to keeping warm.

V/r,
RedLabel
