Same day airborn bou opens Jan 1 in units 17 and 22. I'm curious what everyone thinks about that. I see a few of you partake in the opportunity. Seems like success is fairly good. Some of the operators on the Kenai also apparently offer trips catered just to that season.
With all the talk of ethics and fair chase lately, is this a good way to hunt? Is it "fair"? If so, why only in winter/spring? I think the season closes apr. 30, maybe apr. 1. Would it be fair to offer same day airborn at other times of the year? Other species?
