why not ask on the "other" site
Posted by bushrat on Dec 26 2005
MT,

Some people continually bash this forum on another site for being too concerned with "ethics," yet then they come here asking about ethical opinions. I just wanted to say that I find these comments and motives both disingenuous and troubling. If they are truly concerned with ethics and fair chase, then why do they bash this site and the people who discuss ethics, elsewhere?

Same-day airborne "hunting" is not hunting, is not fair chase, has nothing whatsoever to do with fair chase, and in my humble opinion should never be allowed for any species at any time if it is to be called "hunting." Spotting caribou from the air, then landing ahead of the herd and shooting a caribou (all in the same day)...well, call it what you will. Maybe it's grocery shopping, I dunno. But it ain't hunting.
