i think you guys have touched on something thats very valid, commercial services are on of the issues that need to have some sort of restriction, but i'm also leaning heavy on the atv use. after seeing the downfall of southern unit 13 i would like to see some sort of limitation toward atv use. I'm not specificly speaking towards limiting hunters, just the destruction of alot of land. fly anywhere there is heavy atv use and the it looks terrible.
I guide as well and respect other guides areas, UNLESS i know hes operating illegally, then i pretty much have no respect for his business.
I see the need for large air taxis as well as small family owned buisiness, just like guiding, big commerical outfitts serve a purpose as do the small one guide operations. Deciding who can guide where and what "rights" we have to an area will be tricky.
Will be interesting to see where thig goes in the next ten years. maybe they should just let all the new guides know that your wife better have a full time job if you wanna make any money in this business!!
