I like this site also as another benefit is the apparently open forum for discussing hunting equipment. Readers need to be careful of other sites which may be highly edited and biased. For instance, I tried to post a positive comment regarding Tikka rifles that was edited off the shortmag site and replaced by the moderators own negative beliefs and the topic closed for comment. Apparently the moderator was distressed by the many positive comments about Tikka, and dislikes foreign equipment. And shortmags only promotes certain rifle scopes in their equipment recommendations section while some of the better brands are ignored. Thankfully this forum appears to be a more reliable place to review equipment as at least when someone is doing a sales pitch its in the open.
