[ Return to Contents | Post a Reply | Post a new message ] They sure worked for me Posted by fremont on Feb 01 2006 I loaned my '06 to a buddy on a pig hunting trip to Central Calif. a couple of years ago. I handloaded a Barnes 180 XBT bullet (standard, non-moly, not "Triple Shock") over H-4831. MV was about 2,500+ FPS. He hit a pig running away from us up a hill on its spine, about 6-8" in front of the tail. On the interior side of the spine, the hole created was big enough for a lemon to go through. Bullet took out right lung and landed in the rightside of its chest. Dropped where it was hit. Bullet expanded to .651" (111% expansion). Pretty good in my book.
