I used to be a proponent of the MSR whisperlite, but I'm slowly becoming a believer in the jetboil.  I'm going to buy one this winter and check it out as my backpacking stove next year.  I've heard nothing but good things about this unit from other friends who are nuts about lightweight, dependable gear.  the only negative is that you can't just get fuel wherever you go, but with some foresight this shouldn't be an issue.  Besides, the french press add-on sure looks nice!
