There are only a few people who take tourists out there, and I think all the guides kind of keep an eye on each other to make sure all are following the Park rules. We saw about 15 bears on our late July walk of about 2 hours there. I was always wondering "are they saying to each other 'OK guys, on a count of THREE'" :) It was a great trip but we followed the guide's instructions and he explained the need to never do anything that would cause the bears to alter their behavior.
