I hope you know that I consider you a friend and a extremely knowledgeable guy.  I wish that I had your command of the written English language.  I have had fun responding to your post and mostly I agree with you.  

You are right, I have not seen this documentary about Tim Treadwell and I do intend to see it ASAP.  My perspective comes from reading Tim’s book and seeing his documentary.  Tim is very honest about his demons in his book and what has been written here for the most part I already knew.  You mention that Treadwell went out of control on the camera about the death of a fox.   Death is a very hard and surreal experience and maybe not a true example of a persons insanity.  I for one get very excited after I have harvested an animal and on a few occasions have been glad that my emotions where not documented.  My kids may find a soft side to the old man.

If you have not read Treadwells book?  I would do as Mark does, and encourage you and all to read it.  I feel that it explains in more detail what the films can never capture.  I am not an advocate of Treadwell, but I have been taught.
