Yes, this is about just what the topic says. Has anybody ever done a "parachute in" type of hunt? Anybody know of anybody else? I was looking at skydiving into a reasonably inaccessible area, and maybe hunting for moose, bear, etc...and floating out. The only logistics would be needing to rig the gear up to throw out of the plane. I'm thinking that it can be done. NO...I am not a Darwin Award candidate waiting to happen. I've been jumping for 12 years and am an Expert-rated jumper. I was just wondering if there were any ideas. I was thinking the Brooks range. All I would need is an area about 20 yds by 30 yds to land safely. Just wondering If I am the only one to try doing this???
