Been there

I have jumped adverse terrian (off feild) and it is risky!  One could be hurt badly in an area with little to no access and costly to be airlifted out of a remote location.  Some I know indirectly dropped cargo incorectly/backwards and deployed a parachute behind the plane--no air speed===no lift and in to the permafrost.

Talk to smokejumpers about the idea and remote logistics the are the pros.
