Moving at 150 knots or so makes water feel realy hard and it is difficult to breathe in water if you go unconcious. If you jump in to water with a chute lines from chute could possibly choke you if the water is moving at all it will drag the chute with it. See FAA part 105 and part 65 for aircraft requirements.
