question
Posted by wildog on Feb 10 2006
I am a terrible hunter, start with that, so you know I am no expert.  Here is my question:  so many of you seem to be screaming about using ATV's on a road that is used by trucks, graders, bull dozers, pickups for mining claims, pipeline equipment, etc.  How can you complain about an ATV tearing up the land, or walking on atv ruts?

I have seen the same sort of irony near Anchorage.  Point Mckenzie road.  The authorities gave out tickets if you ride snow machines with less than 12 inches of snow on the game flats.  Yet there are graders, dump trucks, pickups building a winter road all the way to the big Su???

Just a question.  It seems like idealism verses reality.
