I am moving to Alaska in May in hope of getting away from this kind of outdoor experience. I have hiked miles back to an out of the way area to hunt, only to have some fat guy crashing thru on an ATV making all the noise in the world. If it isn't worth the walk to you, then don't go. There are plenty of places to drive to, and far too few to get out on your own. And people, the ATV's are not going to stay on the road. They are going to be driven off to wherever the rider doesn't want to walk, cause if they didn't mind walking, they wouldn't be on one to begin with. This is a major screw up.
