Mine was a Marlin 336 SC in 32 winchester special a good whitetail round for dense woods back then and I guess it still is. It sure made a bunch of good memories for a teenage boy in the deep south. My 36 year old sons was a pre 64 mdl 94 winchester in the same caliber given to him by his granddad on his 13th birthday.My 13 year old grandsons was a Marlin 336 big bore in 375 winchester given to him by his dad on his 10th birthday he beat me to it I was waiting on his 13th birthday.That first one is very special and sure has memories you will never forget thanks for bringing that up..Ronnie
