A freind of mine bagged a wolf last year hunting over one of the wolf kills. He used a tree stand. Even though he was in a tree and holding still they still sensed something was wrong and wouldnt come to the kill. He finally made a shot through the brush as they were retreating. He said he was froze solid from waiting for 5 hours and was about 2 minutes away from going home.
