try this at home!

I posted this earlier on a sheep post but here goes:
I have both a ~20 yo whisper light and an Isobutane stove. I have never had much touble at all with the whisperlite but two years ago wanted somthing smaller/lighter. The discussion on temp issues bothered me so I experemented by putting a selection of canisters and the stove in my deep freeze over night. As long as I used Bruton or MSR fuel, no worries, lit right up right out of the freezer. Never had a problem in the field as well. I typically get ~ 15 individual 24 oz boils per cannister. make a scratch on the side with a pebble to keep track.
               Good luck,
                 Dave
