around zero is death

I start having trouble with "propane" bottles around zero, maybe a tad above. At -20, forget it. That is when you need a candle or burning stick next to them, or (more intelligently) a chem heat pad under them. Reading about these burning tablets, I am beginning to wonder if they may not be a good deal. It seems that they have matured over the years.
