You won't find a lot of disagreement here about the foolishness of what Mr. Treadwell did, but what really disappoints me is the apparent lack of compassion people have about another human being losing his life.

You don't have to agree with the guy to feel compassion for him as a human being, and to respect his relatives and friends who may someday read what we've written here.
