OFFERING TO THE GODS

I have never hunted with any Alaska natives. But, whenever I hunted with any native americans in Montana and we killed something, I was always instructed to leave just a little piece of meat as an offering to the gods. (never enough to be considered a waste) They had many spiritual reasons for this and it sure made me think twice about what I had accomplished.
