Trigger thoughts
Posted by Snowwolfe on Feb 22 2006
Having lived and hunted here since the mid 70's I will tell you what doesnt work for me. And that is any style rifle with an enclosed trigger such as a Remington. To many times while hunting in wet conditions with temperatures around freezing I have suffered from remington trigger freezing solid. Now a days all my rifles are slowly being converted to ones that have Winchester style triggers and Rugers.
Controlled round feeding versus push feed? It doesnt make a hill of beans difference as long as it feeds correctly.
