rifle
Posted by .375 HUNTER on Feb 27 2006
I started hunting when I was 4 years old with my father. My first rifle was a .243 and I handled it pretty well. At age 10 I was good with a Remington 7mm. I think a .270 with the managed recoil rounds would be good. Another thing you might want to think about is a muzzle break and a good shoulder pad to make it a little easier on him. See if your friends have a .270 and get him to shoot it with the managed recoil rounds. See if its comfortable for him. Its the best way to do it in my opinion.
