Kids first rifle
Posted by Mel Roe on Feb 27 2006
I have 3 girls and highly recommend the remington model 7 in either the 243 or the 7mm-08. My girls started at age 10 or 11 and used both calibers with great success. You will find the 243 ammo anywhere you go and if you want to go after bigger game the 7mm-08 can go up to 175 grain bullets. Good luck and enjoy the time with your kids.
