Just hold both guns and simply open the bolt and tilt the rifle, the Tikka action is like butter. From the smaller calibers all the way to 338 the groups these guns shoot are unbelievable! I wouldn't think twice, Tikka all the way! I own both guns so I am speaking from experience with the Ruger M77 S/S and the Tikka T3 Lite. My .02$
