I couldn't agree more Barron

But I also have a problem with the way subsistance is run in this state.  I would be interested in what most people think it should take to qualify as a subsistance user.
If I'm a retired person with millions in the bank and I build a huge cabin in the bush, am I subsistance user?  What about the teacher who moves to a village, are they suddenly a subsistance user?  What about the alaskan native who makes 100,000 a year but lives in rural area, are they a subsistance user because of their heritage? What about the trooper who has a private plane, but lives in a rural community, subsistence? You get the point.
When the state and federal government starts making laws on who can hunt by where they live it won't be long before the lack of game will drive out sport hunting.  Remember subsistence users have priority over the sport hunter in the eyes of the law.
