Resistant

I am in the business of sending people hunting and fishing. However, My first pri is  making sure the animals are their for future generations, IE, future money to feed my kids. It is in my best interest to do so. Not only is what you said dead wrong but I find it offensive, so,
I have decided I like you, since you at least have an opinion, although misguided.
Most guides are in the business of making sure we have those animals, fish included, for the future. Are there bad guides and bad guys, yes. The majority are good.
I just dont beleive a person in the bush should be given special treatment. Yes, I can go to carrs grocery and buy meat. You chose to live where you live, not me.
Making residents fly to dillingham and get a permit and then fly back a months later when seasons open is wrong. If you want the advantage you  have it, you live with and around the animals year round. I have worked in the bush, in the villages, The way I saw it was if someone wanted to shoot an animal to eat they just shot it. License or not. Season or not. Thats the way it is up here and its not likely to change. The village cops have to live there too and they pick there battles carefully. A trooper is different but they are few and far between. Killing an animal for food without a license rarely gets a second look.
Hell, remember about 10 years ago MR---- In Iliamnia shot, what, 10 bears and sent them floating down the river. Nothing would have been said, because they were having alot of problem bears, but a bear floated in front of a tourist fresh off ERA and all hell broke loose in Nondalton and iliamnia.
The result.
A small fine and loss of his rifle. If that was a guy from Anchorage?
Different treatment again.
