You know I just happen to know a guide here that has told me that on many occassion he goes afield with a non-resident client who has spent $20,000 for his hunt , shows up with a $3000 rifle and a $1500 dollar , $1600 binoculars and cant shoot for sh!#. I just cant even understand that. But I work a lot harder for my trophies and cant imagine not spending the appropriate range time neccessary to become proficient with my rifle/bow. Then again I dont give myself 90-100% success rate guarantees either! Money goes a long ways.
