If the guide is truly worried about ethics maybe he should talk to the hunter at length what the hunters expectations and skill levels are. As a guide you don't have to take the business if you don't like what you hear.  I'm sure all the really good guides already do this.  It's the up and comers and the un-ethical ones that need any business they can get to survive.
