I think some of this is mindset related.  People who are dropping $20k on guided hunts are pretty much of unlimited financial means.  They aren't there to hunt.  They are there to pick up another trophy, just like they can at the Mercedes dealer, or at the $10,000 rifle rack.

If they want to spend that kind of money and be miserable becuase they didn't kill an animal, then that is indeed unfortunate.  

I prefer to enjoy my time afield - a trophy I won't trade for anything!!
