I agree that the guide should talk to the hunter in length before the hunt. I never had a problem doing that. But there is a responsibilty on the hunter's part to do the same thing. Being mislead is one thing, but not geting alll the information you need before you book a guided hunt is partly the fault of the guy doing the shopping.
