I didn't notice the recoil in my Tikka T3 Lite in 7mm but my buddies Tikka in 338, whoa, lookout. He put a Limbsavers slip on recoil pad for range time but does not use when for hunting. That rifle kicks but its a heck of a tackdriver for a 338.
