Debateable
Posted by martentrapper on Mar 03 2006
Your statement, Barron, is pretty generalized, and debateable.
"There are either enough animals to hunt or there simply are not."
So what your saying is if everyone can't hunt, no one can hunt, right? That would close down a whole lot more of the state then what is closed now. Is that really what you want? Should non res have the same access res do?
There are no sugar coatings on our system. It's state law, plain and simple. If you think it's not fair, your certtainly able to work to change it. Your also free to move to an area and become a res there, if it's that important to you to hunt there.
Any renewable resource, animals or plants, will only support so much use. We could certainly change our laws and just shut down hunting altogether once numbers fall. That does not seem either fair or sensible in my mind.
