To who?
Posted by Barron on Mar 03 2006
Not only do I think it is an unfair practice to give local pref, but I think it is unfair across the broad board and yes across the state. I dont want to move to Kotz anymore than you want to move to Anch, but that has nothing to do with where I may want to hunt. Nor does it have anything to do with  you or anyone else telling me to go elsewhere because I would be better off. We can hear it in the tone of this message that you would like US, what ever us is to go elsewhere to hunt.
I Know it is currently  state law but that does not mean its a good law, just that its a law that needs to be changed.
It used to be ok to shoot 1000 Bison a day in Montana, does not make it a good idea!
The system simply in my mind does not work. Yes, Im saying clearly, If numbers are down in a game unit, close the season until they rebound. If numbers are good allow everyone to hunt them. Period, in staters and Non res included.
The proxy deal has been a sham for years in my opinion also, thats another can of worms. Its been abused.
