#1. Dont Panic! Remember the most important survival you you own is kept right between your ears. Sit down and think about your situation before you do anything.

#2. Prepare for everything! When you forget to prepare, a splinter can be a life or death event. Think about the worst case scenario, as many as you are likely to encounter, and plan for them to happen.

#3. Leave a detailed trip plan for your family to follow in the event of an emergency. Include flight numbers, pilot names and phone numbers, dates, locations, and personal information such as medical histories, birthmarks and tatoos, etc. ,just in case the worst thing happens.
